Ghana’s Most Respected Female Clergy and the President of the Abena Tay Ministries, H.E AMB. Rev. Dr. Abena Tay, has been crowned Ghana’s Most Outstanding Female in Philanthropy at the just-ended 10th Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards 2024 held at the luxurious Accra Marriot Hotel on 5th July.

The priceless award is a testament to her stunning leadership qualities and exceptional commitment to providing charity to the needy and also for being an extremely respected personality advocating for best practices in the sector.

The Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards organised by The Business Executive Margazine Limited seeks to publicly recognize women in Ghana who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in various forms of endeavor across both the public and private sectors, such as entrepreneurs, professionals, corporate executives, public institutional managers, diplomats, sportswomen, traditional rulers, and others.

The accolade automatically ushers her as a ” SHE ACHIEVER ” which is the topmost connective female network platform in Ghana. The initiative is an executive association which embodies top female CEOs and past Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards winners and creates a platform on which members can more easily reach out for assistance in a required field without incurring costs. It also stands for Women’s Empowerment and gets the voices of women heard on important social matters.

Speaking to the media after receiving the important honor, Ambassador Rev. Dr. Abena Tay expressed her deep gratitude to God for using her as a vessel to help many needy people in society.

According to her, this reflects her commitment to delivering the highest standards of winning souls for Christ through charity and also setting a benchmarks for others to follow.

“I thank the Almighty God for his guidance and protection over the years and the privilege to be honoured at this highest magnitude. This will go a long way to help motivate my team and I to do more. I am grateful to all the partners who have supported me in all our endeavour”, she said.

Rev.Dr. Abena Tay took the opportunity to call for Peace during this coming 7th December, election.

H.E Amb. Rev. Dr. Abena Tay, CDSE is the President of the Abena Tay Ministries. She is a product of St. Roses Secondary School, Woolwich College in the UK, University of Ghana, Legon, and International Theological Seminary.

She is a UN Ambassador for Peace, with also an ambassador for Peace Award from the Universal Peace Federation.

H.E Amb. Rev. Dr. Abena Tay, CDSE obtained her first degree in Nursery Nursing and Child Psychology from Woolwich University in the United Kingdom.

She also holds a diploma in Counselling and Youth studies from the University of Ghana, Legon.

She obtained her Doctorate in Biblical Studies from Alfa International Theological Seminary.

She is the Vice President of the Shepherd to Shepherd Network of Clergy for Ghana and Director for the Greater Accra Region.

She is a certified international chaplain with the Community of The Way International Task Force, CANADA.

As Commander of the Most Distinguished Order Special Envoy specialized in the field of Christian Leadership, she has obtained ambassadorial status by the Word of Life Ministries International, an organisation accredited by The United Nations Economic and Social Council.

H.E Amb. Rev. Dr. Abena Tay, CDSE also an educationist, has been the proprietress of Sensels School, a Preschool and Junior secondary school running successfully for over 26 years.

She has to her credit amongst many others, a vibrant and highly patronized clothing line, “Heavenli by Abe Tay” which is also a Christian shop aimed at providing high-quality clergy apparel, church supplies, and Christian literature She is the author of the Chavvah Magazine, a highly sought-after magazine for women in leading.

She is married and blessed with five biological sons.
