Vision FC goalkeeper Richard Ofori Owusu says the team are prepared to go the extra mile as they seek to secure consecutive Ghana Premier League victories for the first time this season.Vision host Port City FC at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Saturday, October 31, in a Matchday Nine encounter. The Tema-based side head into the fixture with renewed confidence after ending a six-game winless run with a convincing 3-1 away victory over Dreams FC last weekend.Ofori Owusu said the team had spent the week addressing their shortcomings from previous matches and were determined to deliver another positive performance.”We are very ready for the challenge. We’ve been working throughout the week, correcting past mistakes from the last match we played. Even though we gave our all, we are ready to go the extra mile,” he said. The victory over Dreams was only Vision’s second of the campaign after eight matches, taking their points tally to nine and moving them to 13th position. They will now be aiming to build on that result and improve their home form, having gone three consecutive league matches without a victory at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex. However, Port City will provide a difficult test after winning four of their opening eight matches to move into fourth place with 14 points. The visitors also recorded a 2-1 away victory over Karela United last weekend and will be looking to maintain their momentum.
