Cristiano Ronaldo achieved a significant milestone in his illustrious career as he scored four times in a single match to surpass 500 career league goals.
The Portugal forward was in top form as his team, Al Nassr, defeated Al Wehda 4-0 in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo’s four goals came in a span of 40 minutes, with two goals in each half of the match. With these four goals, he has now scored a total of 503 league goals for five different clubs in five different leagues, cementing his status as one of the greatest goal-scorers in the history of the sport.
In December, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner joined Al Nassr, reportedly on a yearly salary of £177 million. His recent performance in the match against Al Wehda is a testament to his ongoing skill and determination on the pitch, even at the age of 38.
Ronaldo departed from Manchester United in November with a remarkable tally of 103 goals in the league during his two stints at the club.
His prolific goal-scoring abilities were also displayed in La Liga where he scored 311 goals for Real Madrid, 81 goals in Serie A for Juventus, and added three more in the Portuguese league for his former club Sporting Lisbon.
Ronaldo’s impressive performance of scoring four goals helped Al Nassr reclaim the top spot in the league on goal difference and with an advantage of an extra match against second-placed Al Shabab.
