Ghanaian singer Amaarae has heaped glowing praise on rapper Sarkodie during a memorable moment at the Blackout Homecoming Concert in Accra.
In a video sighted by Ghana Weekend on Wednesday January 7 on X, the “Sweeeet” hitmaker was seen performing alongside Sarkodie in the early hours of December 7 at The Blackout Homecoming Concert, held at the Underbridge Annex.
During his performance, Amaarae described Sarkodie as the greatest rapper alive, applauding his impact on Ghana’s entertainment industry and African music at large.
“Make some noise for one of the greatest rappers alive. He is the best rapper this country has seen. He is the best rapper Africa has seen. He is King Sarkodie,” she told the cheering crowd.

Sarkodie, in response, took the microphone to commend Amaarae for her role in projecting Ghanaian music onto the global stage.
