Former Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has returned to the club to begin his coaching career, joining Juliano Belletti’s staff at Barca Atletic while completing his coaching course. The 38-year-old will now work closely with the club’s young players, including Ghanaian duo Abdul Aziz Issah and David Oduro, who are part of the Barca Atletic setup.Issah, a Ghana international forward, joined Barcelona’s reserve team from Dreams FC, while left-back Oduro moved to the Catalan club from Accra Lions. Both players have been developing with the reserve side as they look to establish themselves in European football.Busquets’ arrival gives the Ghanaian youngsters the opportunity to learn from a player who spent 15 seasons with Barcelona’s first team and made 722 appearances for the club. The former Spain international was a key figure during one of Barcelona’s most successful periods, winning nine LaLiga titles and three Champions League trophies. His experience as a deep-lying midfielder could be particularly valuable to the young players as he begins his transition from the pitch to the dugout. For Issah and Oduro, working under a Barcelona legend at this stage of their careers could provide another important step in their development.
