Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale says he will soon launch “Project 1 Cedi,” an initiative aimed at addressing unemployment challenges among members of his fan base, the Shatta Movement (SM).
In a Facebook post on Wednesday November 5, the award-winning musician urged his followers to support the initiative by contributing small amounts of money to fund job-creating ventures.
“SM fans, let’s start paying our dues and create employment out of that. I am getting too many complaints about unemployed fans. I can’t do it all, but we all can,” he wrote.
According to Shatta Wale, the project will be officially launched soon. His announcement has already sparked excitement across social media, with many fans expressing their readiness to participate and support the initiative.
The “Project 1 Cedi” campaign adds to the artiste’s ongoing efforts to empower his loyal fan community, encouraging self-reliance and collective growth within the SM family.
