A disturbing video featuring Ghanaian social media personality and musician Showboy has gone viral, igniting public curiosity and concern about a violent incident involving his former signee, Kay Tee.
In the video making rounds on various platforms, Showboy real name Sam Kwabena Safo Junior and known as the founder of the 2Hype Gang is seen in a blood-stained tank top and baggy jeans. He appears agitated, turning to the person behind the camera and demanding in Twi, “Wo video?” (Are you filming me?), while advancing in a confrontational manner.
An unidentified ally of Showboy, seen holding a green glass bottle, is also captured in the clip acting aggressively. The footage then becomes shaky, with only ground-level visuals and background audio, including someone alleging that another person “went to see his mother.” Another voice, also in Twi, mentions someone being bitten during the scuffle.
In a separate clip believed to be from the same altercation, Showboy still bloodied is being spoken to by an elderly man who appears to be trying to calm him down. In the background, a police pickup truck is parked beside a line of vehicles with smashed rear and side windows. These include a taxi, a Range Rover, and a Hyundai Accord, all visibly damaged.
At this point, it remains unclear what sparked the incident or whether authorities have made any arrests. There has been no official statement from either Showboy or Kay Tee at the time of this report.
The footage has triggered a flood of speculation online, with fans and followers calling for clarity and urging both parties to avoid further violence.
