Skysat Technologies Ghana Limited and Konica Minolta have unveiled promotional packages for customers as part of the launch of their new Print Experience Centre in Accra.

Under the promotion, customers purchasing machines during the launch period will receive a 10 percent discount, one-year free servicing and fixed pricing on consumables throughout the contract period.

Also, existing Konica Minolta users will also benefit from periodic free servicing and technical inspections as part of efforts to strengthen customer support and machine performance.

The launch introduced a range of advanced production and office printing systems including the AccurioPress C14010, C4065P and I-series machines.

Speaking at the launch, the Manager – Business Development Distributor Sales Group at Konica Minolta, stressed that the collaboration is focused on repositioning industrial and production printing in Ghana, particularly in packaging and labelling.

“Ghana has the print volume and production capacity, but attractive packaging is important for products to stand out on shelves,” he noted.

According to him, the future of printing is increasingly centred on value addition, packaging quality and customer experience rather than only printing speed.

He added that dependable local support has become critical for industrial printing businesses because downtime directly affects productivity and profitability.

“The main differentiation today is the service you receive from the local partner. Having reliable support in Ghana is more important than the physical printer itself,” he stated.

The General Manager of Konica Minolta, Vibin Lesley Alexander also said in an interview highlighted that the machines are recognised for their colour quality, productivity, and reliable performance with minimal interruptions.

He explained that the latest systems now incorporate embellishment technologies such as UV finishing, enabling customers to create value-added print products with enhanced visual and tactile appeal.

Mr. Alexander further disclosed plans to expand operations beyond Accra into Kumasi and other regions through franchise and partnership arrangements to increase nationwide access to Konica Minolta products and support services.

Sales Manager of Skysat Technologies Ghana Limited, Richard Gyimah also highlighted on the partnership. He said that it is designed to help businesses improve efficiency, accountability and cost management through intelligent multifunctional printing solutions.

“At the core of every modern business is efficiency. Businesses are no longer only looking for machines that can print, copy and scan. They are looking for accountability, confidentiality and cost reduction,” he said.

Mr. Gyimah noted that the newly introduced systems are equipped with advanced security and monitoring features that allow organisations to track printing activities, manage operational costs and improve document confidentiality.

He stressed that the partnership goes beyond equipment sales to include preventive maintenance, customer training and dedicated after-sales technical support.

“We do not only sell the machines. We also provide after-sales support with qualified engineers who specialise in Konica Minolta machines,” he added.

Yaw Adutwum, the former Minister for Education also described the partnership as very important for Ghanaian businesses – while highlighting its affordable and high-speed printing solutions for schools and event planners.
