On Sunday, April 23, the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) will conduct scheduled maintenance. The organisation has stated that the service they provide will be enhanced after the maintenance is completed.
In todays news, ECG announced that during work, power will be temporarily off in certain areas of Accra. According to the ECG, Sunday’s power outage would last from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., a total of nearly eight hours.
The statements reads, “ECG will undertake planned maintenance works to improve service delivery. Areas to be affected: Tesano, Abeka, Alajo, Caprice, North Kaneshie, Santana market, Achobo best, Kouttam, Poly product, Kane em, Duraplast, Ashfoam, Qualiplast, Corona, IPNL Romarong, Fowrewin Ghana, Panasonic, Polytex, Poly Craft, Piccadilly, Top Packaging, Deco plast, Innolink, Burger King, Winners Chapel, Volta Garments, D. B. B, Papaye, Orca Decor, Takye, Plaza, Consar Ghana Ltd., Ghihoc Distillery, Bank of Ghana warehouse and surrounding areas. ECG regrets the inconvenience that will arise out of this exercise.”
