Asante Kotoko are gearing up towards the highly-anticipated Super-Clash against their sworn and eternal rivals Hearts of Oak and midfielder Seth Kwadwo has pleaded with their fans to come out in numbers as their support will be very integral in securing maximum points and the bragging right.
The 23-year-old arrived from Bechem United prior to the commencement of the season and got off to a great start but has struggled to earn playing time recently having started from the bench in their last four matches.
Seth, who is known for his brilliant versatility in midfield, has urged all their supporters to come and rally behind them on Sunday as it will play a huge part in aiding them secure what will be a precious win for the entire ‘Kum Apem’ fraternity.
“We are always grateful to the fans for their support. We don’t with to lose to have them hurt, the motive is always to win but you don’t get it the way you want. We urge them to come fill the Baba Yara stadium on Sunday and we will never disappoint them”, he told Kumasi-based Kessben FM
Asistant coach Prince Owusu is expected to lead the team into the game on the back of Karim Zito’s resignation and is very much aware the only way to redeem themselves and enhance their league winning hopes is to head in for maximum points against their bitter rivals
The second Super-Clash of the 2025/26 season is slated for 17:00GMT at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, February 15.
