SuperJazzClub, a six-piece eclectic collective from Accra, has been announced as the first artist to be featured in Apple Music’s new Up Next artist development program in Ghana. The group is excited about this opportunity and hopes that the world is ready for their music. SuperJazzClub’s diversity is what makes them unique, with each member bringing different ideas and energy to the table.
Their debut EP “For All The Good Times” captured the essence of millennial growing pains, and their new single “Too Early” showcases their ability to incorporate multiple genres into their music. Apple Music’s Up Next artist development program has a successful track record of spotlighting the next wave of creative talent since it was established in 2017.
Nigerian Grammy Award winning superstars Burna Boy and Tems were the first two African artists to be spotlighted on a global scale in 2019 and 2021, respectively. Apple Music has been expanding to showcase South African and Nigerian talent, and now they are turning their attention to Ghana with SuperJazzClub.
The curated Up Next playlist features a dynamic class of new and emerging artists from around the world, and SuperJazzClub will be featured across Apple Music’s Ghana Up Next playlist. Previous Up Next artists include Grammy-nominated and critically acclaimed talent like Billie Eilish, Burna Boy, and Megan Thee Stallion.
