After making just two appearances, he suffered a ruptured ACL in his first start for the club, a setback that has kept him sidelined for most of the campaign.According to the report, the two parties are moving toward an agreement to part ways, with the termination expected to be finalised soon. The news comes at a particularly difficult time for Lamptey, as the 2026 FIFA World Cup draws closer. He was a key part of Ghana’s squad at the 2022 tournament in Qatar and would have hoped to feature again in North America. However, his persistent fitness issues and lack of game time have put his participation in serious doubt. For now, both Lamptey and Fiorentina are yet to make an official announcement, but the report suggests an exit is imminent.
