The organisers of the prestigious Ghana Music Awards have officially announced a change in the date for the main event.
Initially slated for Saturday, May 3, 2025, the awards ceremony will now be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
The organisers released a statement expressing with their sincere regret for any inconvenience the date change may cause to stakeholders, fans, and industry players.
They emphasised that the decision was made to ensure a more seamless experience for all involved and to align with key logistical and production considerations.
The change in the main event date also affects other major activities that form part of the awards calendar. Below is the updated schedule for the lead-up events:
Masterclass – Thursday, May 8, 2025

Pre-Party – Friday, May 9, 2025
The Pre-Party promises a vibrant atmosphere to set the tone for the main awards night.
