The Cruise People CEO vows to seek justice for alleged contractual breach by Black Sherif

The CEO of The Cruise People Limited, Daniel Vanderpuje has vowed to seek justice in a civil court against Ghanaian musician Black Sherif over an alleged breach of contract.

The cruise line claims that Black Sherif failed to fulfill his commitments for a scheduled show in Greece on July 3, 2023. As a result, the company incurred significant financial losses and damage to its reputation.

Vanderpuje said that he is committed to finding an amicable resolution,hence it was important he seeks a just resolution for his company.

“We have a civil suit pending…We will submit the details and he will be served and be required to make a response. We will want to pursue this to its logical conclusion.”He said

He also expressed concerns about the uncertainty surrounding the event. He said that the cruise line had invested significant resources and efforts in organizing the show, and he is worried that Black Sherif’s alleged breach of contract will further damage the company’s reputation.

“How is the event coming on?” he asked. “He has totally derailed the process. If we take Black Sherif’s word that he will show up, how sure are we that he will?”

Black Sherif, was reportedly arrested at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) on the evening of July 19, 2023, following allegations that he breached his contract with a cruise line.

The reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year, is yet to respond to the allegations.
