Lawyer Kusi, lawyer for late Daddy Lumba’s wife, Akosua Serwaa has said that a judge who lacks common sense is like Africa without Madagascar- incomplete.
Speaking with Kwame Tanko on Lawson FM, which Gh Page monitored, Lawyer Kusi disclosed the qualities of a good judge.
According to Lawyer Kusi, there are numerous factors a judge should take into consideration before judgement, and one of the important ones is “application of common sense”, which he claims is the first.
Lawyer Kusi believes that a judge who doesn’t apply common sense in their judgement ends up giving a false or questionable verdict.
The comment comes after the lawyer had spoken vehemently against the verdict by the Kumasi High Court that both Odo Bronii and Akosua Serwaa can act as wives of the late Daddy Lumba.
Lawyer Kusi believes the verdict was in favor of Odo Bronii for reasons he has yet to understand.
Meanwhile, Lawyer Kusi has said that Daddy Lumba’s funeral is not coming off on December 13 as it has been speculated, instead, he noted that plans are far advanced towards burying the late musician on March 14.
