Renowned Nollywood actress and producer Funke Akindele has revealed the reason she no longer attends church services in person.
In a video posted on Snapchat on Sunday, May 3, the actress explained that her presence in church often draws too much attention, making it difficult for her to fully participate in the service. According to her, the other church attendees, especially the church’s media team tend to focus on taking pictures of her instead of concentrating on worship or other important things.
Because of this, Funke revealed that she now prefers to follow church services online rather than attend physically.

While speaking in the video, she said, “I am making breakfast for the kids and getting them ready for church. Do not ask if I am going to church. I am not going to church. Anytime I go to church, it’s me they focus on to take pictures of, so I will join online and then edit some jobs…”
