The Black Stars of Ghana have received another major boost ahead of their international friendly against Wales after the arrival of key duo Thomas Partey and Iñaki Williams in Cardiff.

The pair reported to camp on Saturday morning, taking the number of players in camp to 24 as preparations intensify for Tuesday’s friendly and the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Both players wasted no time in joining their teammates, participating in the team’s first training session of the day at Dragon Park shortly after arriving.

Their arrival comes as a significant boost for head coach Carlos Queiroz, who is gradually seeing his squad take shape ahead of Ghana’s final preparations for the global tournament.

Partey is expected to play a key role in midfield, while Williams will once again be relied upon to lead Ghana’s attacking threat as the Black Stars seek to build momentum before the World Cup.

The Wales friendly is expected to provide the technical team with an opportunity to assess the squad and fine-tune tactical plans before naming the final team for the tournament.

Ghana will begin their World Cup campaign against Panama on June 17 before facing England and Croatia in their remaining Group L matches as they target a place in the knockout stages.
