Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 22-year-old man was fatally stabbed in west London, the Metropolitan Police has said.
A man and a woman, both aged 21, remain in police custody after being arrested on Sunday in connection with the death of Haruun Hassan.
Police were called to the junction of Bath Road and Great Southwest Road in Hounslow at 01:47 BST on Tuesday, following reports of a knife attack.
Hassan, who lived locally, was found with serious injuries and died at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.
The Met has said his next of kin are being supported by specialist officers.
Det Ch Insp Paul Waller said: “Our thoughts remain with Haruun’s family during this very difficult time.
“Our investigation is progressing, and we have made two arrests, with those people now in custody.”
The investigation remains ongoing, and police have urged anyone with information to come forward.
