Ghana attacker Abdulhakim Sulemana has been named Man of the Match after his outstanding performance in the quarter-final clash against Egypt at the 2025 CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on Monday afternoon.The talented forward missed out on a starting role for the quarter-final encounter between his Black Satellites outfit and the Young Pharaohs.In the crucial game played at Suez Stadium, Abdulhakim Sulemana came on for his side in the 51st minute, replacing Hayford Boahene.He was introduced into the match help the Black Satellites complete a comeback at a time the team was trailing 2-1.After coming on, Abdulhakim Sulemana put up an inspiring performance, scoring from the penalty spot late in added time, forcing the 90 minutes to end in a 2-2 draw.In the extra time, Sulemana continued to shine and made things happen for his team.Although Ghana lost to Egypt 5-4 on penalties, the performance of Abdulhakim Sulemana stood out.As a reward, he won the Man of the Match award as a consolation for Ghanas heartbreaking exit from the U20 AFCON despite their gallant display.
