Popular Afrobeat singer Kelvyn Boy, has expressed his disapproval of Yvonne Nelson’s revelation on who her biological father is.
Nelson, a celebrated Ghanaian actress, recently launched her book titled “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.” In the book, she revealed many hidden stories about her life, including her abortion, finding her father, and being banned by the Ghana Film Producers Association.
Kelvyn Boy, who was a guest on the United Showbiz show, said that he found Nelson’s revelation about her mother to be unfair and disgraceful.
“Disowning your father over his treatment is not right,” said Kelvyn Boy. He shared his own experience with his father, who cut off his fingertips because he wanted milk. “I did not disown him as a father,” he said.
Ghana Film Producers Association member Ola and former Shatta Wale’s manager BullDog also supported Kelvyn Boy’s opinion. They said that Nelson’s revelation about her mother was unnecessary and disrespectful.
