Speaking with Valerie Danso on the GTV Breakfast Show, Team Lead of Nak Adventure Africa Ltd, Miriam Koranteng, shed light on the transformative impact of the Diplomatic Intercultural Day in the promotion of the Ghanaian cultural heritage.

She stated that, “the Diplomatic Intercultural Day 2024 is a historical event that will honor the world’s culture, foster intercultural communication and peace, and raise awareness of diversity and patriotism during the Ghana Month celebration. This event is a unique opportunity to celebrate all aspects of our culture, such as food, clothing, and folklore”, she added.

According to her, this is the first-ever celebration of the Diplomatic Intercultural Day being held in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Development Company, Pensions Trust and the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.

It is an event that will not just concentrate on celebrating diversity; it’s about understanding and appreciating the richness of our global community.
As we celebrate the diversity and cultural exchange, uniting people from various countries to showcase their rich cultural heritage, representatives from embassies such as Mexico, Nigeria, DR Congo, India, Suriname, Peru, Malaysia, Morocco, and India will educate the public about their western cultures”, she added.

Madam Koranteng stated that the event will provide a platform for local companies and startups to promote their products and services through cultural exchanges and interactions, fostering international understanding and peace.

Also, more than 100 vendors and representatives from various expatriate communities in Ghana and attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of cultural experiences.

The Team Lead expressed enthusiasm for this concept’s alignment with past events, and anticipates the continuity of the Diplomatic Intercultural Day celebration, urging participation at all fronts at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park on March 23rd at 10 am for a day of cultural celebration and intercultural exchange.
