The Universal Peace Federation (UPF) is set to organize the “Peace Road” International Parade, to celebrate and promote unity, harmony, and peaceful coexistence among community members while connecting with peace advocates worldwide.

This event is scheduled for August 17, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM will kick off at the Total Filling Station at Achimota Old Station and proceed towards Mile 7, culminating at St. John’s School near Dome Junction.

The day will be filled with activities, including a football match at St. John’s School field, where the winners will be awarded the prestigious “Peace Soccer Cup” (PSC).

Participants will enjoy a vibrant March Pass featuring bikers, women’s clubs, and peace enthusiasts, all accompanied by a brass band playing patriotic tunes.

The event has garnered support from several affiliated organizations, including the Women’s Federation for World Peace, the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, Youth & Students for Peace (YSP), and the Ghana National Scouts (Greater Accra).

The Peace Road International Parade aims to foster a culture of peace through communal sports activities, especially as the election season approaches.

The UPF is dedicated to building a world grounded in universal spiritual and moral values and holds a General Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. Join us in celebrating and advancing a global culture of peace and understanding.
