Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the Communication and Digitalisation Minister and Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, has urged voters to support the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming general election and to reject the National Democratic Congress (NDC), fostering a sense of determination and resoluteness in the audience.

Speaking at a rally held at Tony Park in Ablekuma West, which featured NPP Flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Owusu-Ekuful emphasized the importance of voter turnout on December 7, instilling a sense of empowerment and responsibility in the audience.

“We cannot afford to make a mistake by replacing our digital leader with someone who has already failed,” Owusu-Ekuful said, referring to former President John Mahama. She criticized Mahama’s previous tenure, asserting that he is not a viable option for the future.

“We know him; we have tried him before and found him inadequate. We will not return to a rejected option. We are moving forward with Dr. Bawumia. I am urging everyone to vote decisively for Dr Bawumia on December 7,” she added.

Owusu-Ekuful also highlighted the potential for Bawumia to secure a decisive victory, stressing that a strong turnout and support could help the NPP break the eight-year cycle and continue its parliamentary work, filling the air with hope and optimism.

“With your single vote, Dr Bawumia can achieve a 50+1 majority, and we can advance our agenda,” she concluded.
