Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Vision FC have unveiled Nana Kweku Agyemang as the club’s new Head Coach.
The club said Hamza Obeng, who led them to promotion, will assist Agyemang because Obeng does not have the required certification to lead the team in Ghana Premier League.
The 46-year-old Agyemang is set to commence his tenure on 1 July 2024 under a two-year contract, with the club retaining the option for an additional year.
This significant appointment comes as the club prepares for its inaugural campaign in the Ghana Premier League.
Nana Agyemang assumes the helm from the accomplished Hamza Obeng Mohammed, who steered the team to a historic qualification to the Ghanaian top flight.
Notably, Hamza Obeng, holding a CAF License B, will transition to the role of First-Team Assistant Coach, while Ibrahim Otoo will serve as the First-Team Second Assistant Coach.
The newly appointed Head Coach, Nana Agyemang, brings a wealth of expertise, holding both a UEFA B License and CAF A badges, signifying his strong credentials and proficiency in coaching.
