VistaJet, a leading global business aviation company boasting a fleet of over 300 jets, is set to expand its operations in the country.
The company aims to offer tailored private jet services for West African organisations and businesses as a means of connecting global decision-makers domestically and across continents, thereby strengthening economies and promoting local investment.
The President of VistaJet for Europe and Africa, Philippe Scalabrini, made this statement while addressing press and introducing the Challenger 605, a mid-size business jet private tour that is gaining popularity in West Africa.
VistaJet’s innovative business strategy is tailored for those who require frequent or last-minute travel options, ensuring customers can access premium jets on their schedule and allowing members to book flights with as little as 24-hour notice.
“VistaJet has quite a unique business model. It is offering an alternative to people who would have preferred to buy a private jet to purchasing a minimum of 50 hours over a period of time”.
According to him, this approach has been warmly embraced by VistaJet’s clients, offering them the luxury and freedom of private flying without the burdens of ownership.
In addressing the topics of reliability and availability, he emphasised the company’s extensive 14-year presence in West Africa – further highlighting the recent deployment of three Challenger 605 aircraft, a move that has been in effect for the past three years.
“We have strategically deployed aircraft dedicated to regional flights, ensuring they remain within Ghana or the broader West African region for easy accessibility rather that sourcing them from Europe or the Middle East,” he stated.
Mr. Scalabrini claimed to have witnessed the company’s remarkable rise in popularity first-hand, and according to him VistaJet has solidified its standing as the leading global operator of private aircraft.
The President emphasised that the company’s key differentiator from competitors lies in its unwavering commitment to simplicity and transparency in its business approach.
In regard to growth, the company reported an uptick in both new clients and flying hours following its expansion into West Africa. This includes a notable 71% increase in new clients between 2022 and 2023.
VistaJet announced an outstanding 91% surge in new customers during the first quarter of 2024 compared to the first quarter of 2023, underscoring the success of its expansion strategies. The company remains committed to maintaining its reputation for excellence, with continued focus on global connectivity and the development of cutting-edge business solutions for entrepreneurs and businesses.
