Referee Sadou Ali Brahamou from Niger has been appointed as referee for the WAFU Zone B U17 Cup of Nations semi-final clash between Ghana and Burkina Faso.
The match is scheduled to be played on Saturday, May 25.
In a statement from the Ghana FA today, it said referee Sadou Ali Brahamou will be assisted by compatriot Sakina Hamidou alfa (Assistant I), Muhammad Yakubu Mahamud from Nigeria (Assistant II) and Hugues Modeste Richard Kokora from Cote D’Ivoire (Fourth Official).
“The Match Commissioner is Baptista Mariette Mahutongnon TOÏ from Benin, Igue Brice from Benin – Referee Assessor and Boureima Tini Boubacar from Niger, General Coordinator.
“Other officials for the match include, Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah from Ghana – Technical Study Group, Sannie Ibrahim Daara – Media Officer – Ghana, John Koffi Ansah – Security Officer – Ghana, David Kofi Prince Pambo – Medical Officer – Ghana, Serge Innocent Bailly – CAF Competitions – Côte D’Ivoire and Abouba Hainikoye Ismael, Digital Officer from Niger,” the Ghana FA statement added.
Saturday’s semi-final showdown between Ghana and Burkina Faso will be played at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
The game will kick off at 5pm.
