The Black Satellites are under pressure to win their final Group B encounter against Togo to stand any chance of advancing to the knockout stage of the 2026 WAFU Zone B U20 Championship.The Ghana U20 team began their campaign at the ongoing tournament in Ivory Coast with a top clash against favourites Nigeria. At the end of a thrilling contest, the Black Satellites suffered a 4-2 defeat.Subsequently, Maxwell Konadus side aimed to secure their first win at the tournament on Thursday when they locked horns with Burkina Faso.In the game played at the Lycee Scientifique Stadium, a strike by Joseph Badu saved Ghana from a second defeat as the Black Satellites came from behind to draw 1-1.Following the result, Ghana sits third in Group B with a single point from the first two matches. Maxwell Konadu and his boys must beat Togo by all means in their final group match to have any chance of advancing to the knockout stage of the WAFU Zone B U20 Championship.
