Ghanaian forward Raphael Dwamena passed away at the age of 28 after suffering a heart attack in the 23rd minute of Saturday’s Albanian Superliga match between his team, FK Egnatia, and FK Partizani.
The late Ghanaian footballer had a previous heart condition, but he refused to retire from football and continued to play the sport he loved.
He was one of the best players in the Albanian Superliga and was the league’s top scorer with nine goals this season.
In the video that has surfaced online, Players and officials from both teams rushed to aid the player after he collapsed to the ground.
