Ghana captain Jordan Ayew has sent a strong message of determination ahead of the Black Stars’ second 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage match against England.

Speaking to the media, the veteran striker emphasised the team’s fighting spirit and desire to give their all in what promises to be a tough encounter.

“We are going to give our 100 percent, we are going to fight, and we are going to make sure that when we come out of this, we will have no regrets,” Ayew declared confidently.

The 33-year-old led the line for Ghana in their opening 1-0 victory over Panama, playing 87 minutes before being substituted late in the game for Prince Kwabena Adu.

His experience and leadership were crucial in helping the Black Stars secure that important three points.

The highly anticipated match is slated for Tuesday, June 23 at Gillette Stadium. A positive result against England would significantly boost Ghana’s qualification hopes and send a strong statement to the rest of Group L.
