The Western North Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Michael Aidoo, nicknamed Big Aidoo, and his other executives visited various communities to connect with the electorates and understand their needs and concerns.
The first five days of the tour saw the NDC bigwigs engaging in a vigorous door-to-door campaign in towns and villages across the Akontombra constituency.
The political manoeuvre entered week two in the Suaman Constituency.
The Regional leadership met with constituency executives and zonal coordinators to set the stage for the campaign exercise. They also discussed strategies for reaching out to the constituents. The party executives and coordinators also had the opportunity to craft a message that aligned with the most important concerns of their constituents and motivate voters to support and engage with their campaign.
To maximize the impact of the campaign tour, the team formed three groups to conduct house-to-house campaigning in Suiano, Gyampokrom, Kwabenakrom, and Yerepemso. These groups were tasked with engaging with the constituents and explaining the NDC’s 2024 key campaign policies.
