The Western Regional Football Association (WRFA) is preparing to hold its Ordinary Congress on Friday, October 18, 2024.
The event will take place at the Tarkwa Luxury Touch Hotel, starting at 11:00 am.
The Congress, which will be chaired by the RFA Chairman Simon Ehomah, will serve as a significant moment in the football calendar of the region, marking the official commencement of discussions for the 2024/25 season.
Key stakeholders, including club representatives, referees, and other affiliates within the football community, are expected to be present.
The Congress aims to deliberate on essential matters that impact regional football, including administrative, developmental, and financial aspects.
In addition to launching the new season, the Congress will focus on providing a blueprint for organizing and executing various competitions across all levels.
These include youth football, women’s football, and grassroots initiatives, all aimed at enhancing football development in the Western Region.
