Kagney Linn Karter was an American p*rnographic film actress.
She was born on March 28, 1987 in Harris County, Texas and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Karter began erotic dancing while in Missouri.
She later moved to California to pursue an acting and singing career.
She eventually moved into modeling and, after signing with the agency LA Direct Models, posed for shoots with erotic photographer Holly Randall.
Karter entered the adult film industry in September 2008.
On February 15th 2024, she took her own life in Parma in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
She was only 36.
Friends and family of Kagney Linn Karter started a Gofundme to raise cash to cover her burial expenses.
“Hi, our names are Rachel and Megan, and we are the owners of two fitness studios in the Northeast Ohio area: Ecole de Pole Cleveland and Ecole de Pole Akron.
“We are fundraising on behalf of Tina, Kagney’s mom, for the cost of Kagney’s memorial and all financial expectations associated with it,”
The fundraiser went on to describe Kagney in glowing terms.
“Kagney was a woman who wore many hats; she was a performer, a singer, a dancer, a daughter and a friend. She first came to our Cleveland studio in November of 2019, freshly moved out of LA, rearing and ready to jump back in to pole, in a brand new community where she knew no one and no one knew her,” the post read.
“She wasn’t intimidated or anxious. The fact that she was the new kid on the block didn’t bother her in the least,” they added.
