The founders of Wondu Music, Rev Anang Sowah and Dr Ps Emmanuel Sowah, have revealed that they have been involved in music for about 40 years.
In an interview with Ekow Koomson on Channel One TV‘s The Chat on Saturday, April 19, the brothers shared their music journey, with Rev Sowah recalling that he began singing at the age of two because of his passion for it.
According to the Sowah brothers, the name ‘Wondu’, which translates to “seed sowing” in the Ga language, reflects their mission to spread the gospel through music.
Dr Emmanuel explained, “When we started producing commercial music, we did it under the name of the Sowahs, which not only represents our family name but also signifies our commitment to sowing seeds for the kingdom through gospel music.”
Founded in 2022, Wondu Music has already made a significant impact, having recorded several songs.
Dr Emmanuel also shared that their upcoming release, ‘Believer’s Pledge,’ is set to debut in May, with Channel One TV being the first media outlet to showcase the song.
The brothers emphasised that Wondu Music serves as a record label for artists who are genuinely dedicated to preaching the gospel through music.
“The future is that for artists who have a heart to see the gospel of Jesus preached to people through music genuinely, we would want to work with you,” Rev Sowah said.
