A Zambian man reportedly left a courtroom in shock after allegedly admitting to impregnating his 22-year-old stepdaughter, claiming she was more attractive than his wife.
The suspect, identified as Boyd Chileshe, is said to have confessed in court that he had an affair with his stepdaughter, Idah Tembo, on multiple occasions.
“Your Honour, I slept with my stepdaughter because I found her more attractive than my wife,” he allegedly told the court.
Reports indicate that the relationship between Chileshe and Tembo reportedly began while his wife was away in Lusaka on business.
Tembo, who was expected to marry her former teacher in October, is reportedly due to give birth this month, leading to the cancellation of the planned wedding.
Meanwhile, her mother is said to be receiving medical treatment after reportedly collapsing upon hearing the disturbing news involving her husband and daughter.
