The Youth Organiser of the UK Branch of the Tertiary Students’ Confederacy Network (TESCON) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ike Price Asante, has told the youth of the party to do whatever possible to keep the NPP in power in this year’s elections.
From the comfort of their homes and wherever they find themselves, he urged the youth to continuously remind themselves especially those in the UK and others back home of their values, principles and good works of Nana Addo and DMB for the past 7 and a half years.
In a statement, he said “When the mantle of leadership was handed over to us in 2022, we made a commitment to bring the NPP UK party closer to various cities instead of the usual London. So far our journey has taken us to Swindon, Bristol, and west London 2x and today we are in Manchester. I am very delighted. It’s not by mere coincidence that National Youth Organiser is here again UK. This programme is in line with our vision to expand the youth wing , make it overly attractive and vibrant so I want to encourage all other chapters to follow suit.
“My message today is very brief. The youth should embrace Service & Sacrifice instead of what we stand to gain from the party.
“As we leverage on the power of digitalisation, may we never forget to sacrifice; may we never forget to serve, let’s remember that Rome was not built in a day and that the development we seek for our future is a process and a matter of time.
“As we ready ourselves for elections 2024 I want to urge you to do whatever possible to keep Npp in power. From the comfort of your homes and wherever we find ourselves, let us continuously remind ourselves and others back home of our values, principles and good works of Nana Addo and DMB for the past 7 and a half years. Together it’s possible!”
