Organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards have announced a change of venue for the 27th edition of the ceremony, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 9 May 2026.
In a statement, Charterhouse Productions said the event will now be held at the Grand Arena instead of the previously announced Palms Convention Centre. The awards ceremony is expected to begin at 7 pm local time.
The organisers explained that the change reflects the growing scale of the event, noting that the Grand Arena offers increased capacity, improved technical infrastructure and greater production flexibility. The venue has hosted the awards in recent years and is designed to support large-scale staging, broadcasting and audience engagement.
