The National Theatre will be the focal point on Saturday, July 29, 2023, as it will host the most consequential stage play performance in the country.
Dubbed ‘The Dilemma of a Ghost’ ,the stage play which is being produced by Fiifi Coleman Productions features legendary actors such as Fred Amugi ,Brew Riverson Jr ,Naa Ashorkor, Adjetey Anang and a host of others.
Ironically, the Ghanaian film industry has been criticized for its unrealistic casting practices, such as casting young actors to play the role of elderly people.
Legendary actor Fred Amugi, while promoting the stage play “The Dilemma of a Ghost” on Citi TV’s BreakfastDaily show, expressed his disapproval of the casting of young actors to play the roles of elderly people.
The legendary actor who has starred in over 100 movies, assured that change is coming, saying, “It takes only one person to say enough is enough let’s do it this way”.
“The Dilemma of a Ghost” is scheduled to be staged at the National Theatre in Accra on Saturday, July 29, 2023. It is being produced by Fiifi Coleman Production which is being owned by ace actor Fiifi Coleman.
