Midfielder of Accra Lions Football Club, Emmanuel Dzigbah has undergone a successful meniscus repair surgery in Serbia.
The Ghana Premier League outfit recently airlifted the player to Serbia to get a solution to his injury.
The club on Monday, April 22, reported that the surgery which took place in the Serbian capital of Belgrade was successful.
Sharing some remarks, Accra Lions chairman Oliver Koenig said the club is committed to taking care of all of its players.
“As a club, we are responsible for providing our players with the best possible medical care. In Emmanuel’s case, we were advised by our Ghanaian doctors to seek treatment abroad due to the complexity of the injury.
“We are very pleased that the surgery went well and that we will see him back on the pitch very soon.” We wish Emmanuel a speedy recovery,” Accra Lions chairman Oliver Koenig said.
