Family members and sympathizers are observing the customary ‘One Week’ of the passing of late Ghanaian International, Christian Atsu, who died in the Turkey earthquake.
A cross-section of Ghanaians and friends of the player gathered at the Adjiriganor Park in Accra to express their sympathies to the grieving family.
Notable personalities present include Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif, President of Ghana Football Association Kurt Okraku, and NPP Presidential hopeful, Alan Kyerematen.
Atsu’s funeral has been scheduled for March 17 at the Forecourt of the State House.
Christian Atsu was found dead under the rubble in the devastating earthquake that hit Southern Turkey and parts of Syria last month.
