As the countdown to the 2026 FIFA World Cup enters its final stretch, Achimota Retail Centre (ARC) is gearing up to turn football fever into an unforgettable experience for Ghanaian fans, bringing the excitement, drama and unity of the world’s biggest sporting event directly to the heart of Accra.

In partnership with Jenius Mark, a marketing and branding agency, ARC has launched a unique campaign designed to transform the shopping centre into the ultimate soccer viewing venue – a stadium – throughout the duration of the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament.

The initiative promises to turn ordinary visits into an immersive World Cup experience, blending football passion, entertainment, shopping and community engagement into one dynamic celebration.

Running throughout the full 39 days of the FIFA World Cup, the campaign, dubbed “ARC is the Stadium”, is designed to capture the passion, excitement and unforgettable moments of football’s biggest event. The Centre will be transformed into a vibrant destination where visitors, shoppers and football lovers can immerse themselves in electrifying match-day energy, shared celebrations and memorable experiences that extend beyond the game itself.

Shoppers and football fans will have numerous opportunities to win exciting prizes and enjoy special promotions from participating tenants throughout the tournament period.

ARC itself will reward patrons with a range of branded souvenirs, including official-themed jerseys, caps, umbrellas and footballs. Shoppers will also have the chance to participate in the popular “Predict, Watch & Win” competition for shopping vouchers, while interactive photo stands will provide memorable fan engagement opportunities throughout the event.

Through the Predict, Watch & Win initiative, shoppers and online audiences will have the opportunity to predict match outcomes, participate in activities and stand chances of winning exciting prizes and rewards.

Ghana will be making her fifth appearance at the FIFA World Cup which opens on June 11, and the whistle blows for the Ghana Black Stars first game in Group L against Panama on Wednesday, June 17 in Toronto at 11:00 p.m. Ghana time.

ARC is located at Dome, near St Johns SHS, along the Accra-Nsawam Highway, and has for the past decade, provided residents of Accra’s north-eastern suburbs with access to both basic necessities and luxuries from under one roof – a convenience factor which, until the arrival of ARC, was not available in that part of the capital.
