Asantewaa has called out MTN following a revelation from one of her colleagues on TikTok that he had money withdrawn from his account when it was supposed to be blocked.
QuecyOfficial in a video he shared to the platform revealed that he had his phone stolen over the weekend and while he blocked his SIM card immediately thereafter, he still later found out that about 14k had been withdrawn.
Since the robbers did not have his pincode he wondered how that had happened and lashed out at MTN.
Reacting to his ordeal, Asantewaa shared similar concerns.
According to her, MTN has to come out and address this issue and let the public know how such things can happen else people would lose trust and start withdrawing their monies to other networks.
