At the same time, Senegal dismissed Pape Thiaw after the Teranga Lions’ exit from the tournament.Elsewhere, Ivory Coast and South Africa have opted not to renew the contracts of Emerse Fae and Hugo Broos respectively, while Tunisia recently appointed former RS Berkane coach Moin Chaabani as their new manager.Attention has also turned to Ghana, where discussions over the future of Carlos Queiroz continue after the Black Stars reached the Round of 32 before losing 1-0 to Colombia. Queiroz appeared to hint at his departure in a social media post shortly after the defeat, although the Ghana Football Association has yet to make an official announcement.The wave of managerial changes signals the start of a new cycle for several African nations as preparations begin for the next Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
