Afrifa Yamoah Ponkoh, a former Chief Executive of Ejisu Juaben Municipal Assembly, has sadly passed away. Ponkoh was a prominent figure within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and held various influential roles throughout his political career.
News of his death emerged on the afternoon of Sunday, October 6. While the exact cause of death is still unknown, close sources confirmed that he had been battling illness for several weeks before his passing.
His sudden death has left many in grief, particularly within the NDC, where he was highly regarded for his leadership and commitment to public service.
Beyond politics, Ponkoh also had a significant impact on sports as a former Board Member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
