Ghanaian left-back Augustine Ameworlorna has joined Al-Baqaa from Kosovo club Mitrovica on a free transfer, adding a 27-year-old defender to the Jordanian Pro League sides squad.
Ameworlorna completed the move on 4 August 2026 after two seasons with Mitrovica. He made 33 appearances in the Superliga e Kosoves during his time at the club and also played four matches in the Kupa e Kosoves, scoring once.
The left-footed defenders arrival takes him into a new national league after a spell in Kosovo, where he established himself as a regular option at left-back. His move to Al-Baqaa is the latest step in a senior career that has included spells with Mitrovica and KF Trepca 89.
Ameworlorna joined Mitrovica from KF Trepca 89 in July 2024, also on a free transfer. He had initially moved to Trepca 89 in July 2021, beginning his recorded senior club career there before switching to Mitrovica.
Born on 10 June 1999, Ameworlorna is 1.83m tall and operates primarily on the left side of defence. His transfer gives Al-Baqaa a player with recent experience in competitive European domestic football, while also marking his first recorded club move to Jordan.
The defenders Kosovo record includes 2,800 minutes in the Superliga e Kosoves and a further 327 minutes in the national cup competition. He now begins a new chapter with Al-Baqaa in the Jordanian Pro League.
Ameworlorna has completed his free transfer from Mitrovica to Al-Baqaa.
