Alidu Seidu has bounced back strongly after a spell on the sidelines, re-establishing himself in the starting lineup at Stade Rennais with a series of impressive performances.
After going six games without featuring, the 25-year-old right-back has now started three consecutive matches, showing consistency and quality as he pushes to reclaim his place fully in the team.
Seidu was once again in action as Rennes secured a convincing 3-0 victory over RC Strasbourg in round 30 of Ligue 1. He played 68 minutes before being replaced by Mahamadou Nagida.
His recent displays suggest he is returning to top form after earlier struggles, with his defensive solidity and attacking support proving valuable for Rennes.
With his confidence growing, Seidu will now be aiming to carry this momentum into the international stage, as he looks to secure a regular spot in the Black Stars under new head coach Carlos Queiroz ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
