Black Stars winger Ernest Nuamah has praised the unity, dedication and focus within Ghana’s national team camp as preparations continue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and an upcoming international friendly against Wales.

The Olympique Lyonnais attacker recently returned to the squad after recovering from a long-term ACL injury and has quickly settled into camp following his inclusion in head coach Carlos Queiroz’s provisional 28-man squad in Cardiff.

Ghana began training at Dragon Park on May 25, with Nuamah taking part fully as the technical team assesses players before trimming the squad to the final 26 for the tournament.

Speaking about the atmosphere in camp, the winger said players are fully committed to the task ahead and determined to achieve success at the World Cup. He stressed the importance of adapting to the coach’s tactical philosophy and maintaining a collective approach as preparations intensify.

The Black Stars will face Wales in a friendly on June 2 at Cardiff City Stadium before travelling to North America for the World Cup, where they are drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia.
