The ongoing feud between legendary Highlife musician Gyedu Blay Ambolley and veteran Disc Jockey and Presenter Kofi Okyere Darko aka KOD has taken a new turn.
The feud started when KOD lambasted Ambolley for accusing the VGMA of sabotaging the highlife genre.
Ambolley, who did not take lightly the words of the On-Air-Personality, called him “young” and “shallow-minded.”
Upon hearing the scathing attacks on his person, KOD in a post on Facebook has responded to the supposed hiplife originator.
According to KOD, the ‘Sokomde’ rapper was opting for violence in their current debate but he would do the honourable thing by ignoring him.
“Ambolley wants vawulence. Comparing records?? Maybe I won’t mind him,” he posted.
Gyedu Blay Ambolley once signed a Five -Year ambassadorial deal with telecommunication giant Glo. Speaking about the deal in 2015, the legendary Highlife musician stated that he regrets signing the deal with the telecommunication network.
In a conversation with Ghanaweekend.com, regarding his ongoing feud with the Highlife legend, KOD stated that,” I got him the Glo deal, he didn’t pay me, he owes me a lot of money..I knew such a day was definitely doing to come”.
