Kennedy Agyapong wants the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to apologise to Ghanaians about the economic challenges in the country.

The Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy doing so is the only thing that will make Ghanaians accept their campaign message ahead of the December polls.

He wants his party to acknowledge the hardships facing Ghanaians and tell them how they will work things out should the people renew the party’s mandate.

Ken Agyapong says the party has learnt its lessons in its seven years in office, and would work assiduously to overturn the economic fortunes of the country.

Speaking at the launch of the NPP Ablekuma South Constituency election campaign, Kennedy Agyapong emphasised the need for unity to ensure the party’s victory in the December 7 polls.

“Let’s go out there with humility, apologise to Ghanaians, and admit your mistakes before you can convince anybody to vote for you. If we ignore the hardships Ghanaians are going through, they will never accept what we are saying.

“You first have to admit that there are hardships, let’s give NPP another chance, and I know we have all learnt our lessons.

He reiterated the need for all to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to help the NPP ‘break the 8’.

“We are all not going to sit back, we will all support Dr Bawumia [NPP flagbearer] to win,” Kennedy Agyapong advise.
