Management members of Asante Kotoko have visited the family of late footballer Christian Atsu to commiserate with them.
The former Black Stars player was confirmed dead last Saturday having been trapped under rubble for nearly two weeks following a horrific earthquake that occurred in Turkey.
Subsequently, the mortal remains of the footballer arrived in Ghana on Sunday and funeral preparations are underway.
As a sign of sympathy, the CEO of the Kumasi-based club, Nana Yaw Amponsah led a delegation to visit Atsu’s residence in Accra and pay tribute as well.
