Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of Cameroonian attacker Solomon Nsoh Asaah on a permanent deal from AS Fortuna de Mfou, strengthening their attacking options ahead of the new season. The 21-year-old has agreed to a permanent contract with the Porcupine Warriors after impressing the club’s technical team with his qualities in the final third.Nsoh Asaah arrives at Asante Kotoko with international experience at youth level and a strong reputation from his time in Cameroon. In 2024, the attacker was part of the Cameroon U20 side that won the Francophonie Games in the Democratic Republic of Congo, an achievement that brought him into the spotlight and attracted interest from clubs outside his homeland.Following his success with the U20 Lions, Nsoh Asaah travelled to Tunisia, where he underwent trials with several top-flight clubs, according to information gathered by our editorial team.He reportedly had trial opportunities with US Monastir and Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis, among other first-division sides. However, he was unable to convince the management of those clubs to offer him a permanent contract. His move to Kotoko now provides the young forward with a fresh opportunity to continue his development and make his mark in Ghanaian football. The Porcupine Warriors are expected to count on Nsoh Asaah’s pace, attacking ability and versatility as they prepare for the upcoming Ghana Premier League campaign. His arrival also adds another dimension to Asante Kotoko’s squad as the Kumasi-based club seeks to challenge for major honours in the new season.
